Sorry for the many posts, but I am looking for a Gameboy Advance (or any other gameboy for that matter) emulator for pocket pc. Specifically one relatively free of bugs, AND which uses the D-Pad and application buttons for control. That said does any1 know of a Super Nintendo or even 3D emulator for Pocket PC?

Also, what DOS/Windows 95 and 98 games have been converted to Pocket PC? With a 400MHz processor, I wouldn't see any difficulties in runninig simple 3D games like Quake I and II. I am looking for RTS games such as Total Annihilation, Sim City as well as old FPS like Doom and Quake. In fact, is there an application which allows you to convert .exe files of window apps to native PPC format. Ie. convert the files to a format which will run on Pocket Windows 2003? I fantacise about playing Age of Empires or Sim City on my totally mobile Pocket PC! :)

Nope, the code is different, so they have to be ported. That said, many of games you listed HAVE been ported. Some are free, some are not:

gnuboyce is a gb, gbc emu. Morphgear will emulate snes, nes, gba, gb, gbs, turbographix, genesis, master sys, and gamegear.

Pocket quake 1&2 exsists on pocketmatrix.com. Pocketwolf 3d is wolfenstein 3d on pocketmatrix.com. Everquest also is available on handango.com. Search around handango.com, google, pocketgear.com, and tucows.com for these titles, and other pc ports.

Yeah, but I see that most of these games are not free. Ie. at least US $30 (which is more than many PC games). Are there any cheap, full classic titles out there for download?

It takes a lot of effort to port a game from one system to an entirely different one. Not many do it for free. The source code for most of the old games isn't available, and not many companies will spend much money on porting their aging intellectual property to a minority operating system with minimal gaming capabilities.

Unless it's an N-Gage
