I purchased my HP ipaq H4350 pocket pc (the one with the thumbpad) about a month ago and am generally happy with it except for a few (hopefully) minor problems which I will list.
1. Occaisionally, the pocket pc (well the windows mobile 2003 OS) will freeze, usually after extended use. Although I am (as all windows users are) all to familiar with freezing in Windows I assume it is because of low onboard available memory (RAM). It would seem so, beside from the fact often when I reset the unit it remains frozen (when no other programs are running). Could this indicate a serious problem with the software or hardware?
2. Secondly, I have on my pocket pc about 40 or so WMA/MP3 files which were, until today working fine. When I tried to play them today I found the title 'grey' and not-playable. Could this be because of some kind of file corruption?
3. Thirdly, a query of a different sort. I accidentally made a few scratches on the screen (an botched overlay-trimming job) with a knife and wonder is there any way I can easily repair it? The scratches are fairly deep. I don't want to have to repair it. Thanks.
4. And (please don't fall asleep) I notice when I carry my ipaq in my pocket (in the case) it often turns on itself. I assume this is because the power button or button on the side is somehow inadvertantly pressed. Is there anyway I can prevent this? Say, 'locking' the key or disabling it or something? Help appreciated.
5. And finally I have one last minor quibble. When I connect the pocket pc to my pc via active sync and an appointment comes up, Windows Pocket PC automatically changes the time displayed (for some strange reason). For example, it will change from 7 to 10 pm. Any idea what the problem could bE?
Thanks alot, any help would be greatly appreciated.
