I'm waiting to recieve a USB charger with multi-tip, which means I can now forget about lugging half a dozen different charger-blocks for my iPaq, bluetooth GPS, T610 mobile phone, new V600 mobile phone, and b/t headset for each.
Additionally, I'll be able to charge any of these in the car with only one lead & correct tip, using a usb- car cigar plug, instead of a car lead for each.
And finally, i can leave all the "charge blocks" at home, but still charge any of the items at work from my work PC.

What i am wondering about though, is the voltage/amperage differences. although only minor, is there any damage to be done by simply plugging any of these devices into the USB socket on teh PC, or into the USB-cigar plug in the car. What is controlling the correct charge voltage/amp into the device to be charged?

Hope someone can advise.
