Help with MSN Messenger

hey everyone

has anyone had trouble with msn messenger on Windows Mobile ? I installed the update, and it gives me a login error every time. I'd really like to be able to use it....

The good news: it's fixable

The bad news: I can't remember how I fixed it. ;)

Hmm, yep, good news, you can fix it, bad news, maybe there's another way but I did a hard reset, reinstalled my programs WITH NO BACKUP, the last one to install should be the Messenger update, not sure but I think the one that brakes it is MS Reader update if installed after Messenger. Since then it works as expected.

I have no Reader updates installed and the Messenger upgrade was doa on my iPaq for a while. iirc, it just started working one day.

Well, good to know for Helios a hard-reset is not the way (the only one), waiting is the other chance, just hope friends won't go off-line after a long time. :lol:
