With market trials of Handango InHand, Handango has seen rates increase in a range of 20% to 40%, indicating strong potential for order-of-magnitude growth in operator revenues from download services." So that's you telt!<br /><br />"Using Handango InHand, operators can deliver software, games, themes and ringtones. All downloads represent the freshest and best titles available because they are hand picked from Handango's selection of more than 75,000. Using Handango InHand, mobile subscribers can try, download and buy titles with just a few keystrokes." Which is nice. <br /><br />So now you have no excuse – get downloading folks, you know it makes sense!

What's the point of this application if it isn't designed to let you install on the go, just download?

An interesting aim at penetrating the untapped portion of the market. I don't like being pushed into buying/using things. I feel it's just as bad as popups on my browsers =). If done tastefully it could be a great service.

I haven't had a peek at this Handango thing, and likely won't, as Handango makes my skin crawl just a wee bit. How about giving Vito Mobile Downloader a look? I'm testing it now towards a review, and it's pretty darn good compared to nothing. Previously I'd used PIE, then CEDownloader (a Russian beta version which apparently faded out of existence), but Mobile Downloader is well on the way to something like FlashGet on a PC. Works fine on my PPC 2002 iPAQ.
