I wanted to know what the maximum encryption is for IE in PPC 2003. I set the encryption on my Linksys wireless LAN to 128 and the PPC would not connect. I then switched it to 64 and all was fine. Any help would be appreciated.

You're asking two different things, but the answer to both is the same. ;-)
Pocket Internet Explorer has 128-bit encryption for secure data exchanges.
Windows Mobile 2003 supports 128-bit WEP encryption keys - I'm using a 128-bit key with my MN-700 wireless router.
Not sure what the issue is on your end, but it's not that 128-bit encryption isn't supported. ;-)

Hmm...it should be a matter of putting the WEP key into the pop-up window on the zero-config, and BAM, that's it. Would it not accept the key?

No problem with setting up a 128 bit WEP key on my Linksys Wireless B Router and 5450.

Which Linksys router do you have? It might need a firmware upgrade...?

I discovered a while back that my Orinoco Gold in my iPaq 3670 would no longer communicate with my BEFW11S4 using 128 bit encryption. I can only assume that a firmware upgrade somehow disabled the ability.
