How many themes do you have?

Is it possible to have too many themes? I have 21 themes (changed every 105 minutes by MS Theme Switcher). I have downloaded about a dozen more that I haven't put on the PPC yet -- I want to edit them first to better suit my preferences. Do I need help?

I have only about 15 on my actual PPC. But, I have about 800 stored on my laptop, ready for transfer to my device.

This may sound weird...but, until now, I really didn't think I had an excess of these. I thought there were probably lots of people who had collections that would dwarf mine :| .

I have about 300 themes, but only keep about 8 on my device. I use BVRP Theme Manager, which is an excellent program. But, you can get a program from Microsoft that will do basic stuff to a theme. Depending on what you want to do you may need some help. The themes I have were created using various programs including PhotoShop. ACDSEE, Elements, PSP, and others. But those programs are used for the photo editing, to actually create the theme I use the BVRP software.

Can you have too many? Nah, I don't think so......

I have about 15 themes. Mostly use just one though. I may have to start looking into grabbing some more, I don't want to be the one with the fewest amount! :wink:

Wow! I can't imagine 800 themes. I underestimated in my first post: I have a little over 50 themes in total. Still not much compared to your collection. Of course, I haven't owned my PPC for a full week yet.

The really strange thing is that I haven't changed my desktop system wallpaper in nearly a year.

I have a couple hundred in one folder and just over a hundred in the other. I use RPA ThemeMaster to auto-rotate every hour. My only complaint is that, even with over two hundred to choose from, there seems to be a lot of repeats. Maybe that's just the nature of "random..."

The MS Theme Switcher continually cycles through selected themes in the order they appear in it's Options panel. The user can rearrange the order at will.

I would like Theme Switcher better if it didn't take up room on the Today screen. I wish it could just be an icon in either the top or the bottom bar. So far I just have four things on my Today Screen: Date, BatMemTime, Theme Switch, and Owner Info. I like to keep the backgrounds visible.

Then I bought Dashboard just so I could use the rest of his great themes! I was using PPX for a while but lost interest in it. Besides, with Juni "supporting" Dashboard, why use anything else? :lol:

Up until very recently I would generally have about 15 or so themes on my device, but would only really use 4 or 5 of them much. But now that has all changed - I to have discovered Juni's themes especially his WisBar Advanced and Dashboard theme combinations...

I don't know if I can actually make a theme with a bigger resolution because I am using the theme maker from Microsoft. I could probably make a new background picture and then you could use that, but it would be washed out....

I am right there with you. Before I even got my PPC I had downloaded over 200 themes all from the ART category. I found one I fell inn love with after I hit the 200 mark and I may never change it. :)

I seem to have almost all themes I've made stored on the device. And I'm afraid to delete them since I have my own custom modifications I've done to them and if I remove them they will be gone. Isn't that stupid? :lol:

I have about 1500 on my laptop but about 350 on my device. I use Theme King Plus to rotate and set up my categories. I check out www.pocketthemes.com daily and download the ones I like and sort them later.

I've now had my PPC exactly one week. Current totals: 77 themes on the hard drive, 32 on the device (not counting Spiral & default). I may have 1 or 2 on the PPC that are not among the 77, but I'm not sure. All 32 on the device are active in MS Theme Switcher.
