SX56 from Rogers

I was just crusing around www.pocketpcpassion.com when I noticed an article about Rogers Wireless lowering the price of the Siemens SX56 PocketPC Phone Edition from $899 to $399.

This leads me to two questions I am hoping some of my fellow canuks can answer because I can't get the info off thier site (Roger's that is)

1) Is this thier price off the shelf or with a contract?

2)Can this unit be connected to Fido right off or does it need to be "unlocked" first?

I know it's an older unit but it might be a cheap way for me to get what I have always wanted.

hey i dont know if that price is with contract or not, but it will be locked 4 sure. all cells i got from them were locked
