extra battery for compac3970

i know they don't have a removeable battery but what do you do to supliment power when mains power is not avalible -can you plug an external battery into connection at the bottom-what voltage do these units require? : :lol:

There are several approaches:

1. Build your own battery extender. Do a :google: search on "iPAQ battery extender" and you'll get lots of hits.

2. Use a battery extender from a third-party source.

3. Get a expansion sleeve that has a supplemental battery. The PC, PC+ and CF+ sleeves all support this, and the "+" sleeves' batteries are removable.
