Hi everyone!, i haven't visited this, or any ppc forums in a few months, i was only hoping to have 2 questions answered so i can in my opinion , be up to date.
1- how's the appeareance of the new "OQO" pocket pc, going to affect the current market of windows mobile units????
[see http://www.oqo.com/] i mean, are they going to become obsolete???, would people prefer the new oqo pc rather than the old, slow devices???.
2-how can the xda II, and the forthcoming ipaq 6000, be compared??? do they have the same specs??? which one is better regarding functionality??? for your help, thanks........

Well, the OQO looks good... in theory.

The problem is, I think it's been two years since they've been promising the release of it.

Most have pretty much taken the attitude of "I'll believe it when I see it" with respect to it .. if they release it ever it might have a real effect.

Re 1 - see http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22932 - I think both sides sum up their arguments somewhere in that.

Re 2 - The iPAQ 6000, as rumored, has built-in WiFi, while the XDA II does not -- that's probably the biggest difference. We'll have to wait until it hits the market to be sure, though.
