View Full Version : Visualizations for WMP
Is there any way to show visuals while playing audio MP3 or WMA files on WMP ?
(hah by the way, nice job naming another product with a horrible acronym, MS...hahah)
Though if this is even possible, it may be a HUGE drag on batteries... though it would add some bling-appeal while in the car near a power outlet and for short demos.
Thanks, SmallFlacid Corp.

Microsoft? PPC visualizations? Get real.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!
(refering to my other posts) If they ever did things like that I'd be in <censored> dreamland.
You might be glad to find out that there is software out there that does this. I remember using the older version of Conduits music player (on a Nino  ) and there were visualizations built-in. I didn't bother to get the new one to see if they still offer it. To my suprise, the music didn't play [well] on the Nino, but the visualizations looked ok. I think I tried to put it on a Pocket PC some time ago and it was really nice and fast. It didn't burn up any batteries.
Another solution (and free, I might add) would be to get Pocket Candy (a screensaver app) and turn on the screen savers while in WMP. It has things like flying dots, spiraling circles, and mystify. I do know that this kinda defeats the purpous, being that a visualization responds to the music to... help you feel it.

wing,
Our Pocket Player (http://www.conduits.com/products/player) program (version 2.5 released today!) supports visualizations on MP3, WMA, Ogg, and WAV files. It also contains a lot of other features you may be interested in, such as an equalizer and crossfading support.
Thanks!
Great idea, dmac!
I often find myself sitting down and meeting people to show them the benefits of using (ANY) digital organization.
i think the extra bling factor will help convince them to ask, "Which model are you using?"
tee hee
thanks for the reference to the new software, i'm checking it now!

There you go, that should answer your problem.
Please don't get mad at me :D for not using your software. I don't like players with equilizers because I tend to jack them up (to the tops) and blow out my iPaq's speakers
