Grunt....

sob...

Okay, I've searched this site, purepockets, and read some of the Microsoft FAQ about the .NET FRAMEWORK, and cannot get it to install onto my 2002 PPC.

It's like there is too much info. I simply want to be able to run a chess game on my machine, and i have been frustrated for a week trying to install .net framework, whatever the (*&#*$&) that is.

Eek!

Can you tell me what to download and install onto my PC, and then what (and how) to install to my PPC?

In addition, it seems the main complaint is that it will eat a lot of my PPC memory, too. Is there a way to move the files onto a storage card and still have it run?

Color me Confused.

Note that the .NET Framework and the .NET Compact Framework are not the same. With the above, you can run the chess game -- if it's designed for the .NET CF, not a general .NET application.

I think it needs to be in main memory, but I'm not sure.

Thanks, Janak!!!!

With applications that are developer-friendly, I know MS has a difficult time remembering to make things easy for consumers to understand.

Duh on me.

hehe

Cheers, sir!!!
