Quick question. I have an Ipaq 2215, I want to use a program that is not compatible with Active sync 3.7.1, will the ipaq work with older versions??? Where can I find an older version ie 3.7 or 3.6. I tried the pocketpc.com site and the link to 3.7 is actually 3.7.1. I have done other searches and no luck

Here ya go (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=67e9e87c-ca96-48b4-b5d4-f3e047ca5108&displaylang=en), straight from the horses mouth. ;)

Incidently, this (http://www.google.ca/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22ActiveSync+3%2E7%22+download) is the Google search that provided that link.

I tried that one, but when I installed it, it is 3.7.1

There's a download button which I assume will download 3.7. There's also a Download ActiveSync 3.7.1 link.

Or you can tweak the search string on the Google page I linked to, to get 3.6, 3.5 etc.

Well, here is ActiveSync 3.5 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/downloads/pocketpc/activesync35.mspx) Not sure if it's what you need though...

ctmagnus, you are correct that link is correct. I had installed 3.7.1 and then uninstalled. I downloaded the 3.7. When I try to install the 3.7 it still installs 3.7.1, somehow the system still holds onto the 3.7.1 and installs that when I tried to install 3.7. I took the 3.7 file that wasn't working on my desktop and installed it to my laptop (which has never had ActiveSync and it is 3.7 indeed. Worked for my purposes, the program I need is loaded now. Found that interesting.
