Have you seen the new Quiznos Subs TV ads?

From the press release:
The new creative campaign is completely unexpected, even for Quiznos. "The first time you see the advertisement, you might ask yourself, 'What exactly was that?' Our intent was to grab the consumers' attention. By the second time you see it, we guarantee you'll be singing along," said Quiznos Chief Marketing Officer, Trey Hall.

Here's a taste:

Personally, I cannot stop watching it. The full commercials are even better.

Note: You HAVE to have the sound turned on to get the full effect.

I found them rather repulsive looking, needless to say, that is not necessarily the reaction a resturant should be shooting for in their advertising.

These creatures are completely ugly and won't make me buy there food. Now I can imagine the cashier with teeth like that

Thats a really nasty commercial (the creatures)

Whatever happened to:

They still say that at the end of the commercial.

Being edgy and hip doesn't always work. I still think it's an improvement to the 'raised by wolves' commericals...

I don't really get it (maybe I am no longer "hip"), and my wife finds them creepy.

My guess is that they're trying to parlay off the current success of the White Stripes & Co. However, I don't find it particularly funny. Go figure. :| Some of the other kitty animations on rathergood.com (what Senor Snack linked to in his second post) are cute, though.
