I've had some bad experiences with Sandisk SD cards, both in terms of reliability and speed.
I had 3 faulty Scamdisk cards before I made the move to Lexar. I've had a 128MB Lexar SD card for just over a year now and just upgraded to a Lexar 32x 256MB SD card. I took the opportunity to benchmark the Lexar 128MB SD card, Lexar 256MB 32x SD Card and a Scamdisk 256MB SD Card.
The Scamdisk card was less than HALF the speed when writing. Less than half!
I'm staggered that they've been releasing such weak products for so long and people STILL buy them.
