Curious to see how many PPC users are into distributed computing, SETI or both!

And since my PPC is on 12-14 hours per day, I'm wondering if we'll ever see a WM2k3 SETI client! 0X

I don't, but I've considered this type of thing a few times.

Isn't there a PPC Thoughts "Team" for something like this? I can't remember any details, but it rings a bell...

I found this group (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/team/team_79187.html) with a lonely 1 person.

I also searched for "pocket" "PPC" and "Thoughts" but didn't come up with anything that looked like it belonged to this forum.

Maybe we should start a group.

Actually, I'm not sure if was a SETI group. The more I think about it, I think it had something to do with medical research. Same idea as SETI though...using distributed computing.

Distributed computing. See my sig! Team Pocket PC fights Cancer! I voted yes, even though I don't crunch numbers for SETI.

I find SETI to be pointless and a waste of money. I wouldn't mind crunching numbers for cancer though.
