OK, so I'm a newbie to Pocket Informant. I have the app installed (the demo, that is) but can't get the Icon Transfer Manager to work correctly. Whenever I run it, I get this message:
"Pocket Informant's Icon folder is not setup. Please reinstall Pocket Informant on the Pocket PC."
I've done that a couple of times now and still no luck. Whenever I try to transfer icons it just gives an error.
Any suggestions? I posted this on the PI Forums as well. Just trying to see if I'm missing something.

afaik, all that is required is for the
My Documents\WebIS\Icons
folder to exist on the PPC. If it's not there, create it in your favorite file explorer.
hth!

Yeah, that folder is there. I can't seem to find much documentation on the icon trasfere utility. But, I'd agree, this is all it looks like you need.

And the
\My Documents\[PPC Name] My Documents\WebIS\Icons
folder exists on the desktop? I've seen a few instances where an empty folder on one end doesn't get synched to the other end.

That's there too. It has all of the icons as well.

What I would do in this situation is reinstall to both the desktop and Pocket PC.

That's what's most frustrating. I've done that. I uninstalled from both, removed all directories, registry entries, etc. I then soft reset my iPAQ and rebooted my Windows 2000 PC. I then re-installed from scratch. Still no luck.

In this case, I'm stumped. :confused totally:
