You are correct. This does not seem to be compatible with 2002. I tried to install it on my Jornada 568 and it said the device was not supported.

Could this be a .net CompactFramework appication?

Cool! Thanks for a) bringing this to my attention, and b) saving me from an Angelfire site.

This is a very nicely done game, complete with cool animations and slick graphics. And the price is just right!

This looks great. Is there a .cab file available anywhere for this by chance?

TIA

Janak,

Thanks for the free publicity! And thanks everyone for the kind comments.

Sorry about not having a PPC 2002 version yet - that's coming soon.

As a fellow Kevin, I must say I'm glad to see software made by Kevins for Kevins. We need more of it!

Installing now...

Well, I do have the .net stuff on my PPC2002 (whatever it is from .net you can install to a PPC2002) because of another app I installed. Just curious to those in the know, is this exactly equivalent to what's on the Windows Mobile 2003 in regards to running newer apps? Anyway, it doesn't work for me on the 2002 edition.

Kevin....no complaints here; I'm happy to see anything free for Pocket PC users, even if I can access it yet. But, if you'd like to offer a 2002 version, I'm not gonna try and stop you. :D

All,

I took a lot of flack today from some buddies who use PocketPC 2002 :-)

In light of that, I've ported it to PocketPC 2002 and have made that available on the web site. Actually, the new binary supports both PocketPC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003. It is available on my web site, which, BTW, I've upgraded to 5GB/mo bandwidth.

Please visit http://www.angelfire.com/indie/caywen/ to download the dual PPC 2002 / WM 2003 version.

I'm working on the Smartphone version now, so I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the kind words!

About the .net CF, I guess it's the same thing in both versions: when you upgrade to SP2 you use the same file.

About this game, Kevin just released a PPC2002 compatible version.

Oh man... that is one great game Kevin! Thanks!

And to Toshiba, Mitac, Asus and Casio E-200 owners (PPC that supports USB host).... Kevtris works with cursor keys on your USB keyboard!!!
