Which one would be a better device between the two?
I got the iPaq 2210 and I love it... but a friend of mine is trying to decide between the two... He doesn't care about the price... and I told him to get the iPaq 2210 cause he has a Canon S400 digital camera that uses CF... but he is interested on the size of the 4150 and the fact that has Wifi...
He won't be using the wifi too often cause he doesn't have a wireless network setup... and I also told him about the yellow color that the 4150 has...

anyaways... what do you recommend...

I'm not so sure that the yellow tint is that much of a problem with the 415x. My roommate got his in the response to my 1935. I had the device for several months with crisp, bright display, and didn't notice anything wrong. Then I was reading reviews of it on the internet abou the yellow tint, and was perplexed. It seems that the slight, barely-noticable tint is only noticable if you look at it at an angle. With the 4155 my roommate got, it's even harder to notice. It's still got the vibrant colors, and my roommate hasn't complained of any tinting at all.

So it comes down to features. If he wants to use thsoe CF cards, gotta get the 2210. It's a little bulkier, but having those two memory formats would be really nice. Also, he can get either a CF or SD WiFi card for under $100, so the issue there is where to carry it.

I'm looking into a possible replacement for my iPAQ instead of repairing it, and I'm at the same point. I'm more in favor of the 4155 because of the form factor and wireless capabilities, and I don't think that I'll be using the CF at all.

If the size is an important factor for him, he should go for 4150. I personally upgraded from 2215 to 4150, and while the size difference may look minimal on the paper, the difference is quite noticeable when I carry it.

I don't know why HP would continue using the yellow screen in their high-ends. That was a mistake.

I have both a 4155 and 2210, and I would recommend the 2210 ahead of the 4155 under only one condition, if you need a CF slot. After holding the 4155 for a while, the 2210 seems huge. It also feels (and this is purely subjective) more cheaply built than the 4155. Don't get me wrong, the 2210 is a nice PDA, but the 4155 is really sweet.

so what do you guys think about the fact that he has a CF digital camera???

I really like the 4155... a friend of mine had it and it is sweet... as i mentioned, i have the 2210 and i love it too... i'll go 100% for the 2210 just because of the CF... but what you do think???

eventhou he has a cf digital camera... is it worth giving up the CF for the size and Wifi???
Thanks...

If he wants the 4155 have him get a large sd card and one of those sd->cf adapters, that way he can use an sd card in his camera and when he needs to move the pictures over to the ppc he can just pop out the sd card.

There are plenty of places to buy them. Here's an HP one (http://pocketpcthoughts.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=918867/search=secure%2520digital%2520adapter/ut=43a2bab4de84d39e), a Verbatim (http://pocketpcthoughts.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=699656/search=sd%2520adapter/ut=43a2bab4de84d39e) one, both on PriceGrabber, or a random cheaper one (http://www.hitishop.com/hitsdad1.html).

He should decide which is more important: CF or built-in WiFi, then base his decision on that.
