AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! (x 32768) <---you true geeks will understand that!

Okay, really... I gotta get this setup... I'm about to throw the PPC, PC, and everything else I can get my hands on right out the window!

Here's my situation: I use my PPC primarily for work with MS Exchange Server on a wired only server system. At home, I have WinXP Home/Pro on my three PCs, WM2003 on my Axim X5 and a WCF12 WLAN card.

I want to be able to sync with my work PC (inc. email) on the cradle and with my Home PC (all but email) and share the internet connection wirelessly. I would also like to be able to acces shared drives wirelessly.

While jerking with the settings (mostly at random) I have been able to access the internet, shared drives and ActiveSync upon occasion, though never two things at the same time.

Before you begin blasting me (which I'm sure will happen, hehe), I have tried time and again to get these answers and thus far no one has provided me with the perfect answer... Any experts out there feel like taking up a "hopeless case" or know of any web sites that actually work?

P.S. Thank you ahead of time.

This is more of a "sputtering", which I know is not what you're looking for. I'll post anyway!

I believe you can separate the sync issue from the wireless issue.
Synching two PCs to a single PPC has always been a problem, and I've never tried it. I have gotten network shares and wireless working on my X5, but never tried wireless ActiveStink (I mean, Sync). Network shares are a piece of cake - enter "\\PC_NAME\\SHARE_NAME" in the file explorer.

Sorry to "sputter", but I felt I had to. Good luck - take this one step at a time.

I have, in the past, gotten Exchange Sync at work and PST sync at home to coexist, although I've never done email sync myself.

David is correct -- the strategy is to build one step at a time until you find the bump, and then you'll have specific information with which we can help you.

For example: have you been able to get two-machine PIM synchronization working? Start with that, since it's the simplest thing, and let's not deal with email or surf-through-cradle until PIM is done. And if it doesn't work, come back to us with detailed information why, and we'll be happy to help. One major tip to accomplish this: after you establish a partnership at work, sync it to your Pocket PC, overwriting the Pocket PC. Now, come home, clean out your home Outlook's PIM info, and then establish a second partnership with it. Let the Pocket PC repopulate your desktop's PIM. (If you're afraid of losing data, you can back up the PST file first, or create an Outlook folder and move all the data in it.) It should now be set up for two-PC sync.

Good luck. :)
