no sound from my 4155

i dont get any sound from my ipaq. either system sound or sounds from media player until i plug in headfones. what do i do ?

Do you mean that the headphones work fine, but the speaker does not? If so, try putting the headphones in and out of the jack, or take a look and see if there's any obstruction in there -- the jack "switches" the output, and it's not impossible that it got jammed.

I get this a lot. Unfortunately, the solution usually involves a soft-reset. I will try Janak's suggestion the next time this occurs.

that did it, i turned it upside down and tapped it twice and whatever it was came loose and it works now. thank you

A soft-reset wouldn't have anything to do with the headphone jack -- that's probably being caused by something else, unless the physical maneuvering in doing the soft-reset happens to "unclog" your audio.
