phone numbers get messed up when syncing

Hi,

I've used my E-200 a long time without syncing it to any PC. Now I've set up a new OS on my PC, installed all the software (ActiveSync and outlook) and synced. And there comes the problem: All my phone numbers are stored in the international form, that is e.g. +49 3742 3432423. But after syncing them to Outlook, the + is gone! Now maybe you say, where's the problem: it is, firstly, why aren't the number transferred exactly as they are on the PocketPC, and secondly, when I sync to my phone from my PC, the numbers don't work, because the + is missing. How do I fix that? Why did it happen at all?

Check your regional settings in your PC.
If it is set to somewhere other than your actual location your PPC would try and dial the area code for any number chosen.
If you want them back...I suggest faking your regional settings to something else.
