I am allowing myself twenty-five dollars to purchase an app at Handango.
But... There is so much to choose from I don't know what to pick! So, I am asking you, the users of PocketPCThoughts, what I should buy.
Please help. My guidelines are:
1. NO PIM'S
2. Something that could greatly increase functionality (ex. Word, Excel)
3. Something I could use often
4. Something... Good in quality
I was thinking about PDAmill's Snails game
So, tell me what you think.

Well, if you aren't locked in to Handango, check out the sale on Handmark games. My personal favorite: Warfare Incorporated ($22.49). Great RTS game for the Pocket PC.

If you travel a lot, I'd suggest Trip Tracker. It's trip planning software, but I don't know if you would categorize that as too much like a PIM.
Otherwise, I've enjoyed Pocket 64 quite a bit if emulation is to your tastes.
How about one of these?
ListPro
Repligo
FlexWallet/EWallet/CodeWallet

OH YEAH!! That's right, 25% off!
Still looking though...
Edit: I like Monopoly, but I have an NES Emulator that has that free.

The 1935 came with a trial of HWallet, I think. I'll try it out and see if I like.
Edit: ListPro too, I believe.
A recent discussion on ListPro (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23455&highlight=listpro)

How about any PowerPoint editors? Does anyone know about any of those?
(Still trying ListPro. ActiveSync does not want to play nice with Longhorn)

Conduit's Pocket Slides. (http://www.conduits.com/products/slides/)
Not sure about being able to buy it at Hangango though.
Edit: Yes, it is available at Handango, but a little out of your price range. Here is the link. (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&jid=99BDDEDXFAB5BX7C2B8275XAADDD4782&platformId=2&siteId=1&productId=24595§ionId=0&catalog=1&authorId=31405)

Well, this doesn't fit your requirements, but you might want to consider Sprite's Pocket Backup.

I don't have any ROMs to extract...
Sprite was looking nice in the other forums... I am probably going to buy that in the future.
Thanks again :D

I really like Age of Empires and Sim City 2000 - I have both full versions and they are excellent!

I have SimCity 2000 also, but I can't use audio on it due to my slow 1935.

at Handango? nothing.
everything worthwhile is available from alternative sources. Why give any money to a company that thinks so little of its customers, and treats manure with more respect?

You have personal experience of Handango's "manure policy"?
I have to say I've had no bad experiences with Handango, to date, in the same way I've had no bad experiences with my Sandisk SD card. I wish people would limit their ranting to quoting personal experiences, or at the very least to reference an existing thread where both sides of the argument can be offered.
Thanks :)
