Use T-mobile Pocket PC Phone as Modem for laptop

How do I use the pocket PC edition as a modem for my Sony lap top. I have internet access now on the phone.

It's not officially supported. XDA Developers have managed to get it to work (http://xda-developers.com/modem/), but with serious limitations. They've hacked in better modem functionality into a new ROM, but realize that this is extremely unsupported and any such new ROM would be at your own risk.

My suggestion is that you don't do it unless you absolutely need that functionality or are willing to do serious hacking on your device.

Or Junk the T-Mobile Pocket PC and grab an XDA II or I-Mate (Same device, different name) - it has builtin wireless modem, bluetooth, and other goodies ;)
