We pride ourselves on offering the very finest themes to complement your Pocket PC. Through the exceptional high quality and originality of our theme packs we have hundreds of satisfied customers from over 20 different countries."<br /><br />What makes this theme site from others? I had a chance to exchange a few email messages with the owner, and I was pleased to discover that unlike the vast majority of the "for sale" themes out there, Angelic Themes uses royalty-free images rather than taking the work of others and selling it, which is something I've vocally opposed in the past. Way to go Angelic Themes!

They have done some beautiful work on these themes, but I have to wonder who is buying them when there are 1000's of themes available for free at other sites. The bespoke themes probably have a market, but even then a small one. I would think any company large enough to deploy so many PPCs that the company would justify a custom corporate theme probably have its own graphics people to create it. Maybe I just don't understand the business model.

Thank you Jason for posting this thread - it's very much appreciated!

And thank you Godsongz for the compliment!

I wish I could honestly say that I knew why so many people have purchased my theme packs, because like you, there are so many free ones on the web I'm not sure I would pay money to buy themes myself!

What I think it is, is that people like the convenience of having a set of complimentary themes that they can get all in one go, from one place?

Maybe, also, there is a desire to have a theme that is a little more exclusive than the ones that have been downloaded 700+ times from PocketThemes.com?

I'm certain that my theme packs are very well made; and many people have complimented me on how beautiful they are; and it is probably fair to say that many of my customers want more support and "hand holding" to get their themes up and running on their Pocket PC's than most users!

But I can't confidently say why people buy my theme packs, suffice to say that I'm glad that they do :D

And I'm also humbled at just how many customers come back to buy more of my theme packs again and again :)

With regard to the bespoke themes, there are lots of small companies running maybe just 2 or 3 Pocket PC's who really want to promote their brand and see their Pocket PC's as an excellent tool to do this, but lack the ability and/or know how to produce a theme.

I've made bespoke themes for a company employing 20 staff, all using Pocket PC's. But none of their staff were graphics people; and to be fair, unless a company were involved in "design" of some description they would be very unlikely to have such a person either.

Anyway, the site has been going from strength, much to the support of people like Jason and other Pocket PC Sites; and of course to the support of my customers, all of which I'm grateful for.

I'm not expecting Angelic Themes to support me and my family, but as the site and my free themes become even more popular, the costs of hosting the site increase and my commercial theme packs subsidise those costs - long may it continue :D
