can anyone tell me what the D-pad is like on the x3? is it better or worse than the x5?

I have a review coming out soon (I hope!) of the X3i. In regard to the D-PAD, it is much smaller, thinner, and firm. Good clicks, but you can't really use "the Nintendo thumb" to play games (rolling and sliding thumb around the surface). A little too firm for my liking. I'd put its "firm" about equal with the X5's "smushy" problem.
