MyDOOM for .edu

So, MyDOOM is spreading like wildfire, but I noticed Symantec and news articles have said this virus ignores .edu addresses. The only thing is I have a .edu address and I've gotten 11 MyDoom emails. Is anyone else using .edu addresses and still getting the MyDoom virus?
