ROM upgrade - should I?

Hi all,

Yes, I did a search...still confused, need advice.

I have an Axim 5 advanced running PPC2002. Desktop system runs Windows 98, ActiveSync 3.7.1, Outlook 2002. Should I upgrade my Axim's ROM to AO4?

What Rom version does it have now? If it's A00, definitely. I'm running A02 on mine and don't feel any need to change. But there were some improvements after I upgraded from A00(or was it A01, I don't remember which it shipped with).

If you have a PXA255 that's also another reason. The A04 ROM will allow the Maximum Performance mode which will set the FSB to 200MHz. Only on the PXA255 though, not the PXA250.

I did the upgrade from A02 to A04, and I didn't have any problems.
