Standby event

Hello everybody again, as usual I have one more question:

I´m trying to find out how can I detect when the user of the pocket pc turns on the device.
I thought that putting my program in the Startup folder I found the answer but it only works when a hard reset has been made.
When you turn off the device it acts like a standby button, so it doesn´t really turn off the pocket pc.

So my question is how can I control (an event or something similar...) the fact that the device is turned on.
