Last week, we started a contest to give away 4 copies of HanDBase Professional, thanks to the fine folks at DDH Software. I am happy to announce the winners. This was a very difficult task. We had about 50 entries, and out of those, about 50 were very good! :D It was so hard, I asked the folks at DDH Software to give me a hand with this and they picked two winners and I picked the other two.

Without further delay, here are the winners, in no particular order.
• Lotto - Needs help getting a wedding organized. I only hope HanDBase is up to the task. ;)
• robshobs - Has 7 kids  and needs help keeping track of birthdays, clothes sizes, shoe sizes, etc.
• kkyzar - Family physician that needs help tracking patient diagnosis and current meds, and the pseudo medical transcriptionest currently employed is making up some pretty funny names for diseases.
• Bystander - If anyone is going to put HanDBase Pro through its paces, it is Bystander. There is too much to list here, so you'll need to read the post. This could be an interesting case study when it is done.

Congratulations to all of the winners and thanks to all of the entrants. You are getting a fantastic piece of software. I really hated not to be able to give away more copies because there were so many other good ideas. You guys are really getting some good use out of your Pocket PCs! To collect your prize, please use the contact page to send me your mailing address so we can get the CD to you. Just hit the drop down to make sure it goes to "Ed." While you are waiting on your CD, you can go to the DDH Software site and browse their library of over 1,700 databases. You might find one that is similar to your objective.

Now, for those of you that didn't win - don't worry. There will be another post a bit later today that will help lessen the sting. Stay tuned.
