I am debating upgrading my 3850 to a 2215, but I can't justify the investment when my current unit serves all my needs well. However, the thought of a shiny new Pocket PC is sooo appealing ! My head tells me to wait for the next unit in the 22XX series and the new features it may have. What features do you think the next unit in the 22XX series will have ? (And what features would you like to see given its style and place in the HP Pocket PC lineup ?). Will it have the next WM OS ?

Hi,
I don't think there have been any rumours/hints of a new model in the 2000 series range. There is a new h6000 series coming along soon, that is supposed to have every bell and whistle you can imagine (except a 4" VGA screen) if you believe the rumours. This new model will only have an SDIO slot, so if a dual slot device is what you are looking for you may want to look into the h2210/2215 or maybe a Tosh E400/E800 or ASUS MYPal (A620 I believe).

I would like to see an h2400 series with built in wifi, phone and dual slots all in the same 2000 form factor. This would make me a happy woman.

Compare the models and see what best fits your needs. If you still can't make up your mind, there is always the eenie, meenie, miney, moe method or possibly the closing your eyes and randomly picking one method.

I have an h2215 and I love it.

As a matter of fact, I upgraded from a 3850 to a 2210, and I love it! honestly it makes life a whole lot easier without those expansion packs. I still use my 3850 for somethings, like testing out wireless networks + stuff, but I don't really miss it. In fact, I'm posting this from my 2210 right now!
(Actually one thing I do miss is battery life... but I never get my 2200 below 60% in a normal day anyway..)

For a start I would like to see the next 22** ship with more secure side grips, a scroll wheel, built in wifi, and a vga screen. Besides that equip it with a better case, but keep the rest of it basically the same.

throw a jog wheel and internal wifi, this makes 2215 a dream device, still without these i love my device. its the only hp that has a cf slot

Don't care if you start with a 2215 or 4155, but make sure it winds up with BT and WiFi, minimum 128M RAM, two slots (can both be SD if one is SDIO), a mic in (one jack, I can stand an adapter), a jog wheel would be nice, and not so much for me, but the rest of you, native VGA resolution. Probably be easier to start with the 2215 to do this, so get with it HP.
