If I lost my 1935 - I'd lose it!

Definitely losing it (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23155&start=0) would be the worst!!!

I think I'd spend $500 to fix my $200 iPAQ 1935 if anything went wrong with it. It's my baby. I can get a new screen, and my roommate went out and got a new 4155, so I'm already covetting that. But I'll be sticking with my 1935 until I decide to buy a better one, then I'm giving it to my fiance to make sure it stays in the family.

I have noticed that my iPaq 1935 has been getting a few scratches on the metal casing on the back. Also on the battery door. But on the plastic front casing, I have not gotten ANY scratches :?: :?: Its like its super-plastic.
As a side note, is it possible that 1935 users are attracted by some unseen new HP force? (Hyper Plasmic)

Losing my pda would be the worst for me. Of course, I wouldn't want the screen cracked, or any other malady! 8O

I lost the stylus to my 1935 once and I went into a depression so deep, I had to see someone who specializes in hypnosis to get me out of it.

Don't you guys all use screen protectors? I bought them before i purchased my pda!
Losing it is the worst option... but unfortunately, you haven't included "breaking it out of warranty" on your list. That frightens me more as i see it as more likely than losing my device and i can't afford a new one :P

When I get mine next week I'll be able to give a better decision. But for now I am guessing a scratch... or a crack. It would leave your pocketpc able to be used, but with an imperfection. I like taking care of my stuff, and when it gets scratched or damaged it drives me crazy. All the way down to my pens or notebooks. I can't stand damaged things. Although breaking or losing the pocketpc would be pretty devastating. Especially if you broke it yourself, hehe.
"breaking it out of warranty"
This could increase my anxiety level as well :bawl:, second only to losing it.
Do you think Jason could get us a group rate for therapy?

Worst case scenario? Due to an ungrounded connection, my I-Mate (sitting in my pocket) shocks me just severly enough to lose concentration while driving and I swerve off the road, over a cliff, and die.
Now THAT'S worse than loosing it isn't it?
