I looked on the web and haven't had much luck finding some good photos of the micro keyboard for the h2215. Almost all the photos are front shots which don't give you any idea as to how thick the keyboard is.
I'm interested in getting one, but I want to find out if it will fit in my HP leather belt case, or is it too thick.
Can anyone point me to some side view photos?

I had one sitting on my desk yesterday. If only I knew a day earlier.
the case in question, is that the one that comes with the 2215? If so, I would say the answer is no. I have a 4150, which uses the same thumb-board, and there is no way it would fit into the slip case attached. At least, if you got it in, it's not coming out of there attached.
It's a nice thumb-board. I would guess that it adds about 1/8" on the top of the device. The sides and back are very thin plastic.
Mine should be arriving soon. If you still want, I can post a picture of it then.

No, it's this one. Which, by the way, is a VERY nice case.

Can it be squeezed in here?

That is a nice looking case. If there is any flexability in how wide it opens, then it just might fit in.
Just got a call that my keyboard is in. I'll walk over and pick it up. Should be able to get a picture to you shortly. :D

It has elastic bands on the sides so I could squeeze it something a little bit thicker, but not much thicker. I think if the h2215 w/keyboard was only about 1/8" thicker than the h2215 by itself and maybe only 1/8" longer, it might squeeze in.
If you do send some photos, maybe some accurate measurements would be good too.

Good news. Got the keyboard, got the photos (with a ruler in the picture). Just can't FTP my pictures up from here. I'm leaving to head home shortly, and will post them when I get in.

Bluerocket,
Those are excellent pictures - what type of camera do you have?
Also, how easy is it to type on that keyboard?

Thanks! I have a Canon s400 (http://www.canon.ca/english/index-products.asp?lng=en&prodid=435&sgid=23&gid=2&ovr=1). Great camera. Lots of fun, and it's pocket size. Well, it fits in my pocket better than my G1 ever did.
The keyboard is very easy to use. My only complaint is that it doesn't "snap" on. It plugs in, and it's snug fit. But it doesn't take much to pull it out. Don't get me wrong, it won't fall off, or shake off. It just leaves me thinking it isn't fully plugged in.
I was very surprised at how quick and easy it was to get use to. In less than a couple minutes I was banging off sentences in MSN like crazy.

i agree, the keyboard fits snug but can easily/accidently be pulled off. It comes with 2 adapter pieces....1 for standard battery and 1 for extended battery use. Nice keyboard except the buttons are extremely small. Now only if it had backlit keys!
