Has anyone been able to get LEAP to work on an Ipaq? I am about driving myself nuts with this. My company just bought a few hundred h5555's and one of the business units wants to use them on our network. We use Cisco LEAP encryption to authenticate. I downloaded the older softpaq (SP25582) back in October when I was the only one in the company with an h5555, but couldn't get it to work. Wasn't important at the time, so forgot about it. Well, now there is a new softpaq (SP260330) which says it's supposed to add the LEAP interface. However in the documentation it says "IMPORTANT: This WLAN driver update is not compatible with the LEAP supported driver for the iPAQ and with networks that use LEAP authentication." Yet right below that it says "LEAP user interface now integrated into Microsoft WLAN user interface. Provides LEAP support for those customers accessing Cisco LEAP enabled Network". What GIVES! Does this new updated driver support LEAP or not?
I installed it and I know have LEAP as one of the three choices under 802.1x network access. However the PROPERTIES button is grayed out when you select LEAP. How do we input our network credentials so it will authenticate!
Please help! I'm really frustrated at this LEAP non-support support!
