Font Choice

I was just wondering what fonts people use on their devices, or if they even change them from the defaults. Tahoma is pretty good for the form factor, but it cant be the best solution for readability vs. size.

I just stick with Tahoma, but I have recently moved away from ClearType, and I have to say I don't miss it... Not that it's bad, just that after turning it off as an experiment I never noticed it had gone!

Can I ask why? I think everything looks better with ClearType and enable it at every opportunity. Maybe I don't need it, but I sure do like it.

To me, ClearType looks a little blurred for the small type that often features on PPC programs. I do still have CT enabled on PIE though. I think I prefer ClearType when I'm reading lots of text for a long time like with AvantGo or whatever, but not when it's in application dialogues, where I prefer it to be sharper. I don't know. There's not a lot in it, and as I said, it's an experiment. I'll probably change my mind next week! ;)

I use a lot of my favourite fonts from my PC, I have a lot on my ppc.

The one I use right now is plain old Times New Roman or Arial. Maybe I should change it :D

Depends on the device. Some show better ClearType than others. On some, it's a lot fuzzier and actually reduces readability. The older iPAQs were notorious for this.
