I pushed the reset button with my stylus for a long time, trying to do a hard reset, (i'm not sure what that is on a 3630) but now each time i press that button, it just comes up with the screen from the bootloader, then it says in the right corner:

1.87
and after a few secs
P1.87

then it just does nothing.
Is there any rescue to this??
Can i put my .bin files new on this in some way? Maybe a new battery? Dang, i shouldn't have removed the linux bootloader...i'm screwed i think

Did you hold the power button down at the same time? That's what I've had to do for the last few PPC's I've had...

On the 3600 series, there is a little door on the bottom left that you slide open and the hard reset switch is there.

Exactly. Turn it off for a minute, then turn it back on.

You guys rock. That did it. Now i'm off to buy a new battery, storage card, etc as soon as possible.

Thank you so much!
