Sounds cool if I actually had a PPC Phone. Although making VoIP long distance calls would be even better.

Gee, looks cool eventhough I have no real use for it since my t-mo plan give me unlimited free long-distance in the continental US. Now if I had more friends in europe...

Yeah, who doesn't have free long distance on their cell phones anymore? Neat idea though.

Umm...me! :-) Don't forget that if you're dialing international, using a calling card will often be cheaper than the carrier rates.

I'm still a bit worried about dialers for PPC. They'd be so much easier to get working successfully. But, don't want to drag this off topic. Very neat idea, otherwise, the PPC phones open up a whole new market for tons of utilities that fit in where the original OS could be lacking.

I wish they write a version for smartphones..the PPC version looks cool.
I wrote a simple program for my personal use for my smartphone. Maybe I should clean it up and put it for download :-)

I have free LD on my cell phone and nearly free on my home phone. Only exception to this is international rates and I don't need to call anyone overseas....yet.

If anyone is interesting in a similar (but much less polished) PocketPC application that does tone dialing checkout http://dialdtmf.sourceforge.net.
Config of calling cards, etc. is via a text INI file not a GUI form, but it works and its free. Src is available too.
