I'm downloading it now so I'll post back after installation.

With this update if you do a hard reset you have to reinstall the wlan update. the amount of space it takes up isn't bad at all, about 40k if that. So far I've noticed the signal meter reads lower than before. I'll have to wait till moring to try the roaming feature as it's too dark to be walking around my house testing the handoff's between all my ap's.

It's not that big but i have my wifi setup so i can access it from way down the street and iin the woods around the house. I have 3 ap's setup with 6 antennas that you see on top of cell towers. It's cool to be able to walk the dog while streaming video or using voip with my wifii.

I can't get this update to install on my 5455. I get a message saying that "the file Windows\vnetusba.dll is in use or is in ROM. Please close the file and try again." I did a soft reset to clear everything out, but I keep getting this message. Any suggestions?

Make sure wifi is turned off, do a soft reset after you turned wifi off and try it again. My update installed without a hitch but I already had wifi turned off.

Hmm....that's strange but it doesn't surpirse me, I've seen many people have this problem today. I'll look around and see if anyone has found a workaround to this.

So it's not just me? Strange as it sounds, that's a relief!

So far the workaround for this is to find that dll file and rename it to .old then reinstall the update and it should work. I haven't tried it for this update as mine worked the first time but the previous update gave me problems like this and renaming the dll worked.
