Is there a Screen and button lock for Ipaq PPC ??? when I use my 3850 as MP3 player I kinda don't want it to get on pause because I accidentaly touched the screen.
Or pushed something so it opens a program, it have happend even when I have turned it off that I find it on in my sidepocket (have it in my belt).
So anyone who knows of a program or something to lock down the PPC but still can be playing the music.

about the screen thing...you can map one of your button to turn off the screen. Its in the tools menu. Not only does this stop you from doing something by mistake, it also saves the battery. The buttons on your ipaq are pretty strudy and hard to push. So you'll be okay. I did remember comming across a program that does what you are asking a while ago, i can't remember the name though. Sorry. Try handango.

Tried to do that button thing but it did not work, could not find that option wich closed the screen.
So will try to search for that program you did mention.
Tanks for the answer and to anyone else who might have a clue on how to help me I would be thankful for any answers :-)

If you can tell which player you are using we can walk you through the process of turning your display off... with a push of a button...
In GSPlayer you would find it under /Tool/Buttons

I don't seem to be able to find that screen toggle on the button menu.
I use an Ipaq 3850 with PocketPC 2002, the player is Media player I think it is pretty standard.
I have ordered an upgrade to PPC 2003 but have not got that yet.

Trust us, it has it. Every version of WMP has had it since the very first version on Pocket PC 2000. :)

I use the screensaver in PHM Pocket PC PowerToys (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/phmpocketpcpowertoys.shtml).
It turns off the screen and locks all buttons except the D-pad select button.
Plus all the other Power Toys are pretty cool.
