Asus a620 uses compact flash type I or type II ? or both?
What's the diference between the two types?

Thanks people!

Type I CF is a slightly thinner form factor than type II. As a general rule of thumb, most memory cards are Type I and many IO devices are Type II. However, there are exceptions to this. For example my Pretec VGA Out card is Type I even though it's an IO device.

As for the Asus, according to their website (http://usa.asus.com/products/pda/event/A620/spec01.htm) it's Type II. Type II supports the thinner Type I cards as well, so in short you don't have to worry about what Type the card is, it'll fit in the Asus so long as it's CompactFlash.

The main reason you'd want to concern yourself with Type I vs. Type II is that many digital cameras that use CF only support Type I.
