Notes Program with Today screen reminder?

A while back I remember reading about some program which allows you to input Notes but the program then adds some type of reminder to your Today screen.
Often, I will write a quick Note about where I parked, etc., or I will record a quick note, but then it is sometimes tough to remember that (i) I even made the note; or (ii) where the Note is.
Am I right in recalling some type of program that does this?

Yes, and I liked it on my h1910, but when I moved to my new h2215, it seems to be a bit sluggish when updating my today screen. That and Calendar+ did the same thing. There was a slight delay before that part of the today screen got updated. Maybe 1/2 to 1 second. Not that long, but gets annoying after awhile. I didn't really use it to remind myself that I had notes, rather just a way to lauch Notes from the today screen.
