Belkin G700 keyboard questions

I have two questions about my keyboard for my e755 with PPC2003. First, is there any way to disable the on screen text entry when the keyboard is hooked up? Second, how do I make accented characters with the keyboard, specifically I want to make umlaut vowels, thanks.

There is a free utility, called Zenokeyboard, that will allow you to eliminate the on screen keyboard.

Just select this as your input method before you set up the actual keyboard.

As for umlaut characters-I guess it depends on the software, but you can use the insert character function if your program supports it
