Does anyone know of any open source (read free/ little, to no cost) development tools for PPC or PPC-PE?

I have a friend who is interested in developing for PPC, and is an experienced programmer, but can't spend a lot (if anything at all).

Kind Regards,

Microsoft offers free SDK to develope PPC Software with. Check out this link to MSDN (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9996b314-0364-4623-9ede-0b5fbb133652&languageid=f49e8428-7071-4979-8a67-3cffcb0c2524&displaylang=en) for the 2003 SDK and some more info. embedded visual c++ is free!!!
and is a perfect developing environment.

I have a friend who is interested in developing for PPC, and is an experienced programmer, but can't spend a lot (if anything at all).

now i have a question to you. this friend might be you??? because an experinced programmer would know that evc ++ is free and why didn't your friend asked it directly here :D

Hi there this is my first threat here "jibbi jibbi".... ...Hello all

I'm learning java developer and i'm in my very fist steps!

But...i have check out some..
So check out this link here...a full working java compiler for
personal Java ...
http://personal.inet.fi/koti/mobilemike/java.html

And on the Sun Web page you can D/L the Personal java JDK,
you need this to run the Compiler!

Some useful links on the "Mikes Compiler page" a Notepad...for
edit Syntax...and some more! But there is a software out call "CEdit" it is a Notepad with "Syntax Highlighting" ...but it is not free ..30 day tiral...!
If any one knows a notepad with Syntax high lighting for free plz tell me!!!

And you need a Virtual Mashine...Jeode VM comes with any ipaq!

But i found a better one...i think so...
Here the Link!
http://www.nsicom.com
This one is very good and run Applets ...jeode VM run not the Quasar Applet...i dont know the reason...this one here start this applet don't too, but ...hehe... maybe with a bit config it will work i test it only a day, i need a bit more time, my school action suffer me for now!

This is a good one too but with her own API...not compatible with Sun API!
Link here:
http://www.superwaba.com.br/
Superwaba is very powerful "Game and Sound API and much more" java
is very interessing, i dont know it really ...but WinCE ...how long is it out since wince 2.0 ...10 years or so..? And since ca. 3 month the Mobile fone
development goes straight ahead to Java...the Technic is now in a state
to use java with Mobile Technic... it is crazy "Why Sun do not Support
Personal Java to the new API ...i don't understand it...the Market is "NOW there...and there is a lot of Money in it!!!

And here a absolutly crazy IDE with a other VM not java like ...but check out!

At last a link .... it is a tool like 3D Max for ipaq... 8O ...but it wont run on my 3850 ..the screen is mirrored on my device...but it will run perfect on the 36xx series!
But with a Virtual Display u can fix it a bit on the 38xx series...i test that!
