It worked well on blackberrys. I WANT ONE ON MY IPAQ!!!!!! A scroll wheel would be perfect for alot of daily activities we do on the ipaq. The only problem i'd see is where to put it...Should it be on the left hand side so you could use it in combination with the stylus? Oooor on the right hand side, where it is on the blackberrys....hmmmmm.

Do you mean like the scroll wheel on X5? Yeah, I love it. My primary navigation tool in ebook reading. It's awesome.

I have to say that the scrollwheel is the ONE thing I'm pining for (not for the fjords, mind you) on my 4150. I love it sooo much more than my old Axim, but boy howdy is the lack of a scrollwheel annoying.

The thing I do most on my PPC is read ebooks, so this could have been a killer, but I'm managing to struggle along ok with the auto-scroll feature of ubook.

Yeah that's what's making me hesitate the most about getting the 4150. Well, that and the money. Now that I had to buy a car I won't be getting any new toys for a long time now :( But I hope by the time I can afford a new one, someone will come out with a device which is cute, has wifi, and has a jog dial! Till then my macho sexy axim will be just fine :)

I love my 4155 but I DEFINITELY miss the scroll wheel from my X5. The scroll wheel made reading ebooks a truly one-handed experience. Since I'm a lefty, I find myself attempting to use the battery-release latch on the 4155 as a scroll wheel. Hasn't worked once yet.

On Palm Reader it's not such a big deal since you can tap anywhere on the bottom of the screen to turn the page. But I've been reading some free books that are MS Reader formatted lately and you can only tap on the little tiny arrow to turn, so I've been using mostly the jog dial and occasionally the D pad. Palm reader is so much better!
