I may be repeating a question (already asked and answered), but has anyone heard any news on the WM2003 Upgrade for the i700 from Verizon?

I haven't seen or heard anything in a while and was curious...

Thanks!

Kind Regards,

Rumor, STILL, has it that it will be coming, but no date yet. Rest assured I'm watching closely, because I want an upgrade for my i700.

Well, some on the pdaPhoneHome forums believe it's "official", but I can't make that promise until I actually see it. ;)

I've seen those posts and agree with your interpretation... But it would be nice to have WM2003 back again.

So far I love my i700! The only thing that bothers me is a 10-15 second device freeze after I turn the PDA back on. The processor spikes and freezes the device, and I'm not sure why. The device comes back, and functions normally, but this happens everytime the device is turned off (or cycles off on its own) and is then turned back on.

Any ideas?

You mean every time you hit the power button? I've never had that problem. I think you might have a software conflict.

Yes. That's exactly right. I think I do have a software conflict; but problem is, I'm not exactly certain what is causing it.

Are you using Pocket Hack Master on your i700? I contacted Anton. He said it should work without a problem...

Nope. I'm living with my i700 puttering along at 200MHz 8O ;)
