Hard Reset

Hi,
I have an e330. I have had several instances where my battery runs out of juice while traveling. When this occurs, the unit will do a hard reset, and all installed programs are gone. Is this normal or is there a backup battery that may be bad? I have only had the unit for about a year.

It is normal, and it is also really rough on the battery to let it fully discharge. When I bought my e335 I got a Belkin power adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter of the car and into the bottom data port of the PDA. The cable also doubles as a client side USB cable. I never let the little guy go below ~45%
