XDA II Question

I've been looking at getting an XDA II and was wondering if a current XDA II user could answer this question for me. Does the cell phone still ring if the PDA is off? Is the phone always on and you can just turn off the display? Or, once you turn off the PDA, the cell phone is turned off too? Thanks!

Like all Pocket PCs, they don't actually turn "off" - they go into suspend mode, so yes, the phone will ring in suspend mode.

You can selectively turn the phone function on or off. When you turn the set off, the machine goes into a sleep mode and depending on whether you have previously turned the phone function on or off, it will ring or not ring respectively. When you turn the set off, the dispay is turned off and it remains in the sleep mode until a call comes in if you did not turn the phone function off. It will then ring and the display will be illuminated and it will ask whether or not you want to answer the call.
