I was given the HP 3600 MaH bettery pack for my 2215. While it adds a bit of bulk to the device (it still fits in my pants pocket) it add nearly 36 extra hours of run time with my standby turned down to the lowest setting. It is great for wifi! If you are a heavy wireless user, you will want to consider it. You can just carry it in your briefcase and pop it on when you need it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
WARNING: In order to install the drivers, the software actually replaces your ROM image from 1.00 to 1.01. You will lose everything stored on your device.

My IPAQ 2215 with my usage lasts about 4.5 hours while playing music, movies, games, and providing PIM and Avantgo support. I looked at two extended battery options to increase battery life without the use of external battery extenders. The HP 3600mAh was too big and bulky. I chose the Mungen 2000mAh battery. I purchased from pdaparts.com for $56 shipped. If fits into the same battery slot and comes with a new battery cover.
I had to upgrade ROM for the extended battery support here: http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/handheldiPAQ/us/download/20081.html
I have been using the battery now for a week, and so far I have been averaging 10.5 hours of use between charges, where I would run the battery down to 10% battery left (one hour left).
I use Omegaone Batterypack 2003 which provides multiple battery profiles so if I burn through my new main battery, I can pop my old battery in, push a button and it recognizes the original battery. This gives me a total of over 15 hours of battery life for travel purposes.
I highly recommend these two products for those who require longer battery life than the standard 850mAh battery that comes with the 2215.
