I Can't Install ActiveSync...Please help

Hi,
I just got my first PPC and now I am attempting to install ActiveSync 3.7. I have download the set up to my PC (XP OS) and when I click on the setup Icon nothing happens. I have placed the setup under Program files on my PC. Can someone tell me what is wrong. I have looked at a few different help sites but have not seen this problem described.
I have also done a search here and found nothing.
I have enough space for the set up.

I would love to help you... but I am a little confused... Are you loading it directly from the supplied disc..?

Oops a duplicate post...

Yes I am downloading it directly from the supplied dsc. The setup icon is sitting in a folder under my program files. Now usually to exec a set up you double click the set up icon. I do this and nothing is happening. No installation no extracted files ...nothing.

You can download active sync from Microsoft...

Try downloading and installing this...

I see what I did wrong. instead of opening the downlod I saved it as I usually would then tried to exec the setup by double clicking the Icon.

Agggh this is going to kill me I just know it. :D
