What am I missing here.....I downloaded the Windows Media Encoder on my server to try and stream some music over the internet to my PPC on Wifi. Everything seems straight forward except I cann't connect! If I connect via Wifi over my Lan I can stream the music with no problem. My thinking is that my router is the issue. I will do some port forwarding and try that but has anybody been able to stream audio from a computer behind a router over the net and access it from their PPC that is also behind the router? I'm thinking that I may have to be connected to another access point not behind my router to get the music...... If anybody would like to try to connect the URL is http://209.89.245.53:1124/
Please post your results/thoughts.

Works for me (on PC, will try my Pocket PC in a little while...)

Update: On my Pocket PC it sits at "connecting" and never plays the file...

That is strange that it plays on your PC but not on your PPC.....

Try using mms://209.89.245.53:1124 to hit instead of http://209.89.245.53:1124/

I have it working now...It plays without problem on several friend's PC as well as on my PPC when I am near thier wireless access point. Just an interesting point.....When I am at my own access point I can listen to it stream the songs but only if I connect directly to the server....My PPC and computers behind my router's firewall will not connect over the internet to the stream audio. When I go out to another wireless access point (not my network) I can listen fine. May save somebody else pulling out their hair....
